Outdoor Health Forum members
Membership is open to all UK environmental organisations who see the natural environment as a major contribution to the nation's health. All members are volunteer, independent experts in their own right.
- Members are xperts in their own right. They act as conduits to the networks and resources of their organisations, towards achieving the objectives of OHF.
- Members are voluntary. They do not receive any remuneration; and are expected to cover their own travel expenses when attending OHF meetings.
An Executive Committee and a Steering Group are drawn from the general membership. These two groups plays an active role in providing the direction and leadership in taking forward OHF’s agenda.
Executive CommitteeThe Committee meets monthly ia conference call to monitor and ensure that work agreed is taken forwar. Membership of the Committee is currently under review and will be published shortly.
Outdoor Health Forum Steering Group membersThe Steering Group meets quarterly to review the Outdoor Health Forum's work programme and to make key decisions that affect its future direction. Members are not asked to pay a subscription, they are simply required to attend at least 3 out of the 4 meetings per year to continue to benefit from membership.
